Released only in Japan, this version of the game (known in the West as Street Fighter Alpha 3) for the Sega Saturn comes bundled with the 4MB RAM expansion cartridge. This is utilized to add additional frames of animation to the fighters, making it nearly identical to the arcade version. Also, The Saturn version has characters not featured in the original arcade version: Dee Jay, Guile, T. Hawk, Fei Long, Evil Ryu and Shin Akuma.
