The first turn-based homebrew RPG to come to the NES! Swords and Runes takes a minimalist approach to graphics, and focuses instead on exploration and adventure. Join Khan, Lyvn, Zhor, and Shao on their quest through the Tyon Valley to stop the forces of evil. Mystery, puzzles, and a unique combo battle system keep things interesting in this lengthy quest. Passwords allow for play across continued sessions. Three versions of Swords and Runes were published - Limited Edition, Numbered Edition, and a Regular Edition.
