The House of the Dead is a 1996 arcade horror light gun rail shooter video game developed by Sega AM1 and released by Sega GameWorks in the USA on March 4, 1997. The House of the Dead is the first game in The House of the Dead series. Players assume the role of agents Thomas Rogan and "G" in their efforts to repel the dangerous, inhumane experiments of Dr. Curien, a madman.
