Based on the cuddly stuffed toy line the ZhuZhu Pets video game is an action-adventure with forgiving controls, aimed at younger gamers. Players guide their favorite furry character to run through a city-sized hamster habitat game world, uncovering new areas, and unlocking new items and power-ups. Players can choose from nine main ZhuZhu Pets characters: Patches, Nugget, Winkie, Jilly, Scoodles, Pipsqueak, Mr. Squiggles, Chunk, and Num Nums. Each character is designed with a distinct personality, with different preferences and proclivities. Players must care for their virtual friends to keep them happy and healthy.
